Heartbreaker LP [PHDM004]

The fourth full length installment on Pure Heart Dirty Mind Records (PHDM) sees New Zealand-based powerhouse Unsub unleash a deadly array of drum and bass howitzers.

Her latest LP production entitled ‘Heartbreaker’ is a diverse collection of beats that represent various styles across the spectrum of the genre, featuring flowing deep dub and liquid rollers through to razor sharp bass heavy madness and samples ranging from doors, desks, subway tunnels and exotic instruments. This LP has a little bit for all lovers of drum and bass music.

Notable mentions are the heartfelt melodies of title track ‘Heartbreaker,’ the twisted dance floor mashup vibes of ‘The Sound,’ the reptilian swamp-like march of ‘Apocalypto,’ high-energy vibrations from ‘Evergreen Lustrush,’ and the alien-like invasion of ‘The Rift.’

Unsub continues to demonstrate her masterclass in creativity and a deep understanding of sound design, with exquisite production that spans drum and bass, breaks, dubstep and more.
