Trans Awareness Week

Trans Awareness Week and the Day of Remembrance.

Visibility is vulnerability and even though strength is often found in it, it is still a difficult and often dangerous thing. Particularly in the current climate of fear, hostility and aggression we live in. We’ve been dealing with some pretty heavy health issues and trauma recovery which has, more often than not, left us unable to put ourselves out there like we want to and have done through the years.

Hopefully, with the surgery recovery going well and the emotional groundwork we’ve put in, we’ll be able to do so again next year and reconnect with people who are also still fighting for the better future we all deserve. In the meantime, we are still here. Still loving, learning, creating and building. <3 <3 <3
